A great exposure to all kinds of mechanisms involved in the public health department.In the Parbhani district of Maharashtra, first rural Internship in PHC Kawalgaon. Field work - Assessment to analyse the different environment challenges faced by the people in the catchment area of the PHC and how does the PHC handles them. During this span, there were visits to many subcentres under the PHC, attented Immunisation camps and had an detailed exposure to the different activities organised.   I got an opportunity, to work as a remote stakeholder volunteer, with Sustainable Square, in two Social Return on Investment( SROI) studies,based on Water-Sanitation and Nutrition. The WASH project basically focused on training the manual scavenger, to provide them jobs in formal sector. The Plan India Nutrition Project, focused on the health status of tribal women in Maharashtra. I helped in analysing and assessing the impact of both these studies, by facilitating in the data collection of different stakeholders. Show less
