      Fernando Perdomo has more than twenty years of service in the Uruguayan Navy and attained the rank of Commander for the Diving Unit. In addition, he is certified as a Marine Surveyorin the areas of diving and salvage and has supervised and coordinated marine projects involving harbor construction, permanent anchoring systems, and ship salvage operations.He has developed abroad as Commander for fast patrol boats in the Democratic Republic of Congo for a United Nations peacekeeping mission and has participated in six missionsto Antarctica attending to campaign logistics and diving operations. He also participated in a Naval Command and Staff course in the Republic of China. Leadership, team work,decision making and collaboration are among his main strengths across a variety of skills. As a diving officer these skills include carrying out diving operations such as cutting and welding,underwater construction, explosive demolition, ship salvage, heavy rigging and lifting, and inspections with zero visibility in cold and/or polluted water.
