  Fitness and Nutrition Coordinator

  I am proud to be a part of the YMCA's fight to prevent childhood obesity by coordinating the summer fitness and nutrition camp. We look to improve the health and nutrition knowledge of many children in the Dayton area. During the Fall and Spring Seasons, I am involved in the Soccer for Success programming initiative to continue the health and fitness message to our youth. I am currently coaching soccer and compiling data to show what an impact this type of programming can make! This is part of a nationwide initiative to encourage health and fitness through a fun sport like soccer. Show less

  Coordinating transportation for 30 to 40 seniors with our transportation partner to attend programs twice weekly. Assist in setting up for the days program, greet seniors when they get off the bus, assist with set up for speakers/presenters, collect evaluations and end of program clean up and prepare for the next days program. Grant writing to ensure East Dayton Senior Collaborative continues meeting the needs of seniors in our target area.
