      As the Executive Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) at UHD, I lead university-wide initiatives that align with institutional strategic goals in teaching and learning. My role encompasses strategic leadership within the Office of the Provost, where I design and implement programs focused on faculty, instructional, and organizational development. I manage mini-grant programs, facilitate faculty workshops, and support pedagogical innovation and online course quality. Additionally, I oversee support of online teaching quality, coordinate instructional design support, and collaborate with departments on faculty development and teaching effectiveness. My responsibilities also include directing CTLE operations, supervising staff, planning budgets, and securing external grants. Through needs assessments and user research, I ensure continuous improvement of our programs. I am dedicated to promoting teaching excellence and student success by serving on key institutional committees and developing CTLE programs that are evidence-based, faculty-driven, and student-centered.
