      Intergovernmental Compensation Research: I joined the Montgomery County Office of Legislative Oversight to conduct a study into both union represented and non-represented positions with several counties in and out of the Washington, DC Metro Area. The analysis included a breakdown of total compensation into the major cost drivers: salary, pension/retirement funds, and medical/dental coverage. This comparative analysis was completed in order to evaluate whether Montgomery County compensation was generally in line with similar area counties and to project the potential impacts of alterations to the composition of comprehensive compensation. - Developed and implemented plan to analyze County compensation packages to ensure that the County's compensation model treated employees fairly while providing efficient use and responsible stewardship of County revenue. - Researched salary scales, benefit costs, employee retention, and impact of collective bargaining through examination of publicly available data and requests to external organizations- Assessed relative competitiveness of County compensation- Projected potential impacts of alterations to the composition of comprehensive compensation structure. - Compiled methodology and findings, and presented conclusions to County Council.
