  From April 2002 to March 2005, I managed a team varying in size from 8 to 15 developers within Application Services. The primary software applications supported by my team was the Siebel 5.5 eFinance suite of products, collectively referred to as the Siebel CRM suite and internally called the Member Relationship Management application; used to manage the policyholder base. The other applications supported by my team included the EISI NaviPlan Financial Needs Analysis product, the Fraternal (Foresters Community Network) Extranet, a couple of departmental intranets and a variety of departmental MS Access applications.From June 1998 to March 2002, I managed a team of twenty developers within Application Services. The major applications supported by my team were the Foresters public-facing corporate web site (iof.org), the US Sales Force Extranet, the Sales Force Point of Sale & Financial Planning Tools, the GEAC HR & Payroll system that managed the payroll of all employees, and the Sales Force compensation system that managed the commissions of the agent sales force of Foresters in the US and in Canada.   As the Information Systems Director (since 2015) of the Travelers Canada Operational Data Environment (ODE) / data warehouse, I took on the dual role of Project Management and people-management of a team of over thirty IT staff members comprising Project Managers, Architects, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, developers and testers in delivering on the data warehouse information needs of key business areas within the organization through projects varying in resource budget from $3M to $8M. Policy information stored in the data warehouse is sourced from the strategic policy administration application (OneShield Dragon) and a legacy application (CGI RTM). Claims information is sourced from the strategic claims adjudication application (Guidewire ClaimCenter) and a legacy application (CSC PMS). Billing information is sourced from the strategic Billing application (Guidewire BillingCenter). From 2012 to 2015 I was the Application Delivery Manager for the ODE. From October 2007 through January 2012, as the Portfolio Manager of the Claims Portfolio, I managed a team of over twenty IT staff members comprising Project Managers, an Architect, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, developers and testers in delivering on the project and support demands of the Claims Operations business area within the organization. My team managed small and large enhancements to the Guidewire ClaimCenter application, including taking it through two software upgrades and integration with the organization’s strategic policy administration application.From June 2005 to September 2007, I managed a team of over twenty IT staff members comprising an Application Architect, Business Analysts, developers and testers in delivering on the Legacy application (CSC PMS) project and support demands of the Underwriting and Claims Operations business areas within the organization.
