      During the summer I took on a paid Student Research Assistant role looking at Carbon Reduction efforts by The Borough of Poole. I am currently in the process of finishing the paper. This involved communicating with external stakeholders, through interviews, email and telephone, collecting and analysing data, then presenting the data to line managers and The Borough of Poole. For a 10 week programme I mentor students from high school to college from disadvantaged backgrounds. I help to get back up to date with areas they are behind or have missed and teach them about opportunities/subjects that will arise in the future. (Jobs, apprenticeships, uni, finance, gap years, C.V writing etc)Additionally, as a mentor I work for the Bournemouth University Summer Breaks Programme where yrs 10, 11, and 12 come and experience Uni life for 3 nights and 4 days.
