  I graduated with a Masters in Education Fall of 2013, in the department of Education, Culture and Society with a Masters of Education. My study has been focused on social justice in education using critical frameworks of class, race, ethnicity and gender. Generally, I have been looking at K-12 educational inequity/inequality in urban/suburban spaces and analyzing educational spaces, pedagogical practices and curriculum as a vehicle to counter social inequality and create better educational opportunities. I am interested in continuing my work with teachers and staff in order to create equitable classroom spaces and curriculum. Show less
