  As part of my work experience in sixth form I helped out with the advertising and promoting for Sunshine Music festival; as the owner was also in charge of Detroit’s restaurant, I helped create some adverts and slogans for Instagram to attract a younger target market. There was also a lot of organisation involved such as getting tickets ready to be sent out and finding new acts that could be added to the line up.

  As part of my job as a cashier I’m involved with a lot of face to face communication and have exceptional customer service skills. I also have to deal with a lot of technical refunds and have covered for supervisors in the past; opening/cashing up tills, counting vouchers and ensuring the till operations runs smoothly. I was hired temporarily over Christmas to help with the grotto; I had to entertain customers as they waited to enter the experience, handle cash for tickets and organise bookings.
