Acting as a liaison between clients and vendors, I played a pivotal role in finalizing Bill-of-Material (BOM) specifications prior to procurement. My responsibilities included the seamless implementation of DELL EMC's enterprise-class XtremIO, VMAX, and VNX block storage arrays, coupled with Cisco MDS director-class SAN switches, ensuring prompt availability for production use within specified deadlines.In addition to block storage solutions, I oversaw the deployment of NAS arrays such as ISILON X400 and H500, along with backup infrastructure including Data Domain 670/890/6300 to cater to clients' disaster recovery requirements. Collaborating closely with diverse teams and project managers, I navigated through challenges to ensure streamlined hardware deployments, mitigating any potential project delays.Recognizing End-of-Service-Life (EOSL) hardware, I orchestrated timely upgrades/replacements with newer, more efficient storage solutions, effectively reducing operating costs for clients.
