      Developed and delivered a number of strategic communications and employee engagement projects across the council, and consulted on a variety of complex plans and strategies to drive council’s long term objectives. The role required exceptional relationship management skills, particularly with the Executive and Senior Leadership team, and had a strong focus on writing compelling stories and robust business cases to get the buy in from a variety of different stakeholders. Led a large-scale transformation programme to connect council's 9,000 staff to its new strategic direction. In addition to setting the overall strategic programme direction, I managed all day-to-day activities and competing priorities. The role required a high degree of project management skills, diplomacy and dealing with ambiguity. The programme contributed to a 5% employee engagement increase and was a finalist at the SOLGM Excellence Awards in the category 'Building Organisational Capacity'. Contract role to manage end-to-end sponsorship activities for community events, including Movies and Music in the Park and Parnell Festival of Roses. I was responsible for identifying, pitching and winning potential sponsors; market research, developing compelling sponsorship proposals as well as marketing communication and PR plans.
