  Served as a National Health Corps AmeriCorps member at the Sulzbacher Center, which is a homeless outreach center providing a variety of resources. During my year of service, I led clients through health education classes and provided assistance with enrollment in government benefits, such as SNAP (food stamps) and Lifeline (cell phones). These resources are pivotal for clients to have a successful transition out of homelessness.

  Responsible for overseeing the Mental Health Offender's Program (MHOP) and Project for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) Program. This includes supervising program staff, organizing activities, managing the budget and expenses, coordinating services, analyzing data, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. As an Assistant Director, I also have supervisory responsibilities for the behavioral health staff. My duties include managing the budget, coordinating transportation, reporting to funders, assigning tasks to staff, balancing workload, promoting teamwork, providing input on staff metrics, and participating in call rotations. Additionally, I handle court-related tasks, authorize expenditures, onboard new team members, address IT and operational issues, review documentation, coordinate with inpatient facilities, arrange housing, and propose evaluation methods. My main focus is on meeting the needs of the persons served, guests, and internal customers, while always ensuring we follow safety procedures.
