GOVERNMENT PROJECTSQuality Management Standards / Quality Technology Tools (QMS/QTT): The main objective of the Project was to sensitize and encourage Micro and Small enterprises to adopt latest QMS and QTTs, which will make them more competitive and produce better quality products at competitive prices. 30 Programmes were organized in various industrial clusters in the year 2013-14 and 10 Programmes were organized in 2014-15.Lean Manufacturing Consultants (LMCS): The project involves engagement of (LMCs) to assess the existing manufacturing system of member units of the Mini Clusters and stipulate detailed step-by-step procedures and schedules for implementing and achieving of lean techniques. It is expected that once MSMEs adopt the LM techniques they are introduced to the benefits and savings.
