  Planning Engineer

  Planning of the regional Telecommunication network in order to provide various Telecommunication Services to the other Eskom Departments. The planning involves the transport network including PDH and SDH technology on both radio and optical fibre, as well as PABX, Cisco router andBandwidth Management Equipment. It also includes the provisioning of the necessary infrastructure to accommodate Telecommunication Equipment for example, erecting towers, containers, chargers and batteries. On two occasions, I was also responsible for a national project in order to refurbish existing obsolete technology. Show less
