Sept 2012 - Jan 2015Fingerprint ExpertEmployed as a Fingerprint Expert.Working as a part of a small team on live finger mark cases from the jurisdiction of BTP across the country. This also involved verification peer-checking, preparing casework for courts and any other duties around fingerprint or finger mark case processing. I have also spent extensive time in mortuaries examining cadavers to attain fingerprints for comparison to marks lifted from personal property.

The duties consist of arranging, organising and planning training and development scenarios and appointments in relation to the stages of requirements for trainees in the National Fingerprint Learning Program. This opportunity is enabling me to attack training and development from a previously unexplored angle, less 'in front of' learners and more dealing with staff, personnel and partners of our area of business in order to achieve goals related to the level of the program the various trainees are at. It is challenging and enhancing my skills with organisation, communication, and record keeping.From arranging monthly development meetings, to arranging oral assessments of theory knowledge and practical sessions for crime scene as well as laboratory work.I also work along with the National Fingerprint Trainer to arrange related WEBEX sessions and the formative and summitive requirements of assessments.
