      Responsibilities: Programming, Resourcing (both staff and equipment), Producing method statements and risk assessments to comply with Client requirements thus enabling examinations/inspections to be carried out safely and on time. Leading teams on site ensuring examinations/inspections are carried out to specification.Producing Assessment/Examination reports highlighting defects found in the examination/inspection. To identify and report in good time any defects that may cause an unacceptable risk to members of the public and the environment. To provide information that enables the management and maintenance of a variety of structures. Recently lead and participated in the Principle inspection of the Forth Road Bridge that carries traffic between Queensferry and Fife over the Firth of Forth. The inspection was carried out using Rope access techniques during the enforced shut down, the project was a huge success and was highly commended by the client (Transport Scotland). The work entails, liaising with the client, producing Health and Safety documents, planning the site Inspections, carrying out the site inspections and producing the reports for the client. Amey Rail – LNW CEFA Contract Preparing for and carrying out the examinations of various types of rail structures using various methods from roped access and mewps to trackside. This is to enable examination reports, both visual and detailed and assessment reports to be produced for Network rail the client.Amey Highways - Major ProjectsM53 Bidston Moss Viaduct, Wirral.(£90M) Based on site in the role of Clerk of Works, working as part of the Integrated Quality Verification Time (IQVT) ensuring that the design and specification are being met by the contractor on site.Aspects of works within the remit –• highways resurfacing (inc: lining and signing)• expansion joint replacement• lighting column replacement• ground level drainage• under slung drainageAlso involvement with concrete repairs and steelworks.Amey Highways - ConsultingHighways Agency Area 9 MAC– M5 Junction 5 to Impney Farm (£4M)Production of drawings and specification appendices for the upgrade of a 2.4km length of motorway central reserve including the removal of the existing road lighting and the installation of a completely new drainage system and a concrete step barrier as the new road restraint system. Highways Agency Area 9 MAC – M42 J9 to J10 (£7M)In conjunction with a 4.2km crack, seat and overlay scheme on the concrete carriageway of the southbound M42; design the new road restraint system to be installed in the motorway verge and central reserve and prepare the Contract drawings for site clearance, road restraint systems, drainage and road markings.
