I was a Project Manager on the Editorial business transformation side of "Streamline", a $60 million program that successfully revolutionised News Corp's newsrooms, editorial products, and management and operating models. The program delivered to Scope, Budget and Schedule at the end of June 2014.The Program implemented Eidos Methode and CHP content management technology to provide the multiple-media, multi-channel capabilities required to support significant Editorial process efficiencies and business transformation objectives. These included vastly improved content and product sharing across the national group, and easy collaboration for editorial content creators and producers who for many years had been siloed by disparate technologies and geographical and business organisational structures.I managed projects to a) re-engineer Editorial processes, b) implement a national standardised Target Operating Model in all newsrooms (with significant headcount reduction), c) develop a pool of Editorial subject matter experts to validate that the technical capabilities configured in Methode would support the new operating model, and d) I project managed implementation of the solution into The Australian - News' flagship masthead. Parallel Programs are running in News's UK and US operations. Show less
