The last course every business student took, was a real life business simulation that schools around the area competed in. Each group/company had to satisfy stockholders and customers while investing in the stockmarket, and analyzing regional trends. The project gave a very practical overview of how businesses run, and how sensitive the market can be to your everyday operations. This program was very interesting and benificial in understanding the competitive market that businesses face everyday. Show less

      Sept 2017 - now
      Manager of Operations

KAP is the first global peer-to-peer networking platform for Northwestern’s Kellogg Alumni. KAP is a place where members can utilize their network to gather, collaborate and learn from one another through virtual Round Table Discussions on topics that are relevant and topics our members suggest. KAP's member base has grown substantially in our first year which is proof that our members recognize the need and see the value of a place such as KAP. As the Manager of Operations I am responsible for all day-to-day operations of creating and running KAP. After my husband’s graduation from the Kellogg Executive MBA program in spring of 2017, he and his co-horts wanted a way to stay connected with each other, reach other alumni and continue their quest for learning and sharing knowledge with one another. I left my position in Human Resources to work with my husband and his cohorts to execute day-to-day operations to build KAP on their behalf.
