      Oversaw staff at seven community centers including the largest community center/park. Supervised rental operations and staff for all seven sites. Duties included preparation and monitoring of Departmental Budget in excess of $200,000. Managed Department records, processed payments, and developed customer relationship strategies with community organizers.• Implemented policies and procedures for Facility Attendants and rental customers• Developed quarterly staff training Program• Utilized MSI, Time Clock Plus, and RecTrac (Parks and Recreation Management Software) to coordinate, manage, and track community center event planning and management• Instructed American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes (expiration 2016)• Customer service skill sets--created/built relationships with 500 key stakeholders-- local government, education and civil service departments in various townships, local and national youth organizations, community residents and patrons o Provided immediate support for rental events• Implemented new dashboard tool for data collection which was used to measure facility utilization, budget and staffing level projections, volume of park district attendance on an annual basis; also used for problem solving o created staffing protocol and orientation on the utilization• Developed safety training protocols for staff in accordance with federal, state and local guidelines and policies--OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration), PDRMA (Park District Risk Management Agency) o Ensured compliancy of chemical safety protocols for staff and oversaw the management of MSDSs (Material Safety Data Sheets) per federal guidelines Show less I was promoted into a newly created position.       The Office of the Village Clerk records the proceedings of all Village Board meetings and special meetings; maintains all official legislative records, certifications, and the Village seal; and monitors Village compliance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act and Illinois Freedom of Information Act.The office also serves as the local election authority and registrar for voters and prepares information on violations of Village ordinances.
