After working on the St. Vincent jobsite for 1 year, I was transferred to Richmond, VA to work on the HealthSouth project. I was relocated back to Birmingham on the St. Vincent's job site after 2 years and was offered a postion with HGA Products.

  This was my company that I started with one contact, Lowe's. The company rapidly grew into being the fabricator and installer of countertops & cabinets for 5 Lowe's, 13 Home Depot's, Mazer's, and other small contractors. Our showroom was shared with a cabinet distributor. We took the installation from the measure, estimate/quote, to ordering, to installation and custom built countertops.   John Mims, the president put me into this position over the warehouse, he needed someone who could get it organized and put structure into place and handle multiple areas. This is a distribution company of countertops, lumber, cabinet accessories, wood stains, siding, decorative rock, and other small hardware & accessories. John Mims, the president bought my company (Topshop) and added the F & I program for countertops and gained my vendors/contacts. Once the buy-out was satisfied, he moved me into another position.
