      Responsible for overseeing the delivery of key elements of the Service Governance (SG) workstream within the IS Transformation programme, including driving forward the creation of the workstream plan to ensure Standard Life processes, controls & governance were understood and adhered to by new strategic partners, ensuring a smooth transition from programme to operational readiness for key OIT processes. Challenged the supplier’s assessment of delivery when required. Worked closely with the Communications manager to draft and agreed key communications for SG workstream, including communication sessions across the wider OIT community. Deputised for the SG workstream lead, including input to programme & risk forums. Show less Responsible for managing the overall Disaster Recovery (DR) process and related programme of work for Standard Life critical business services and their supporting infrastructure. Included working with external suppliers such as IBM, BT, Oracle. Also responsible for IT Governance for Service Continuity, ensuring the appropriate controls are designed, implemented and operating effectively and where relevant that risks were visible and action plans were being progressed. I managed an extensive, continual testing programme throughout the year. All infrastructure components and critical services were tested at a minimum annually through a mix of test approaches, ensuring that testing was representative of likely recovery scenarios, without exposing production service to undue risks.       This was a contracting position to implement an off shore Change Management Team in the Dell EMC Cairo VSD to support the changes being implemented within the RBS portfolio. Responsible for managing the schedule of changes across 10 projects for Dell EMC within their RBS portfolio, ensuring compliance with RBS Change Governance. Stakeholder management within RBS, including Senior Programme, Project, and Head of Dept. managers, ensuring smooth transition into an operational environment following Change Management governance. I also work closely with Dell EMC Programme & Project Managers and technical staff to understand the portfolio change requirements, with responsibilities for the allocation of work to x6 Change Admins working on the RBS portfolio based remotely in Cairo, London and Edinburgh.
