My work builds on the Mindset and Posture area of the Transition Design Framework taught at the Carnegie Mellon School of Design. The project investigates how meditation can be used as a tool to learn about the inner dimensions of human experience, helping designers cultivate crucial characteristics such as objectivity, openness and self awareness. Supported by a body of scientific research from psychology and neuroscience, and a wealth of design literature, the project explains how the benefits of meditation can extend to the designers work, changing the way they engage with the design process and the world.
