  Research assistant

  As a research assistant within the Auditory Cognition Development Lab (aka the UNLV Infant and Child Music Lab), I schedule participants to come in, run studies, preprocess data, and manage data. Since starting at my position, I have been invited to join research on the lab's Misophonia and BIRDS studies and become a member of the data management team. Within the Misophonia study, we analyze how beat perception, ASMR, frisson songs, and sounds eliciting Misophonia are perceived by different age groups. In the BIRDS study, the focus of the study is on the speech-to-song illusion, where we analyze how many repetitions it takes for small clips of audio to turn from speech to a song for an individual. Lastly, as a team member of the Data Management team, my responsibilities involve reviewing how and where data is being entered to make sure there aren't any accidental errors. The past few months within this research lab have already been extremely rewarding, and I am beyond excited for my future experiences and opportunities! Weniger anzeigen

  As an undergraduate Teacher Assistant volunteer for PSY 330 (Foundations of Developmental Psychology: Infant and Child), I maintained regular correspondence by promptly addressing student inquiries via email on behalf of the professor and sending out weekly emails to two sections of classes. I proctored and graded examinations for approximately 60 students, calculated grade averages for both class sections, monitored attendance throughout the semester, and meticulously entered grades into the grade-book.   The love yourself foundation (lyf)

  As Co-Lead Online Marketing Strategist of the Love Yourself Foundation, I manage the interns and volunteers we have on our Marketing team. I coordinate the monthly social media posting schedule and come up with all of the ideas on each post, co-lead our bi-monthly Marketing meetings, regularly check-in with our team and LYF leader to see how I can best best support them, and attend in-person volunteer events that LYF hosts. In addition, I analyze our marketing analytics on our Instagram and TikTok for patterns and collaboration with our marketing team each meeting for ways we can improve our content to fit what our audience would like to see!
