  I have had a passion for writing poetry since 1977. Over the years I have developed a poetic style that lends itself to lyric and conversational prose. A word about my publications.Conversations, Breath of the Land, November Morning, House of Madmen, and Cherries After Dinner (Amazon and Lulu), are books that reflects my journey in life through Judaeo-Christian values expressed in poetic form. But foremost in this expression is the book Conversations. Even though the book has been out for about a year, I do not want people to think this is just another poetry book. We live in a more evil world today. Some would say the world has always been this evil, and God has taken His hand off of the world to let us see what kind of world we really live in and what kind of people we really are. But suffice it to say, evil is now taking center stage in world affairs and interpersonal relationships. Conversations is a book taken out my private observations about the conditions of this world and how I 've navigated through it with God at my side. I knew from a young age I could not succeed in this world without His guidance after witnessing the atrocities happening during the civil rights movement, the Vietnam War, rising crime rates, and rising conflicts in aggression between nations around the world. I did not want my life to reflect a lack of insight into why man does what he does in this world. My developed relationship with God and his bible are the sources that tells why man’s mind leans towards evil and what needs to be done to turn it away from it. I’ve had to make changes in my own thinking from age twelve to today to keep my focus on what God wants and how he wants me to live. Conversations is my first book of that journey in poetic form.If you want a book that can truly impact your life, this is the book for you. It will touch you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Performed administrative supervisory office duties, approved leave requests, and submitted bi-weekly payroll. Submitted and had approved needed building code changes through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Performed quarterly public code training meetings with community engineers doing private inspections in the county. Topics ranged from new code updates to new county directives. Traveled to other cities to support choir performances under the direction of musical director Tyrone Jackson (2000-2005). Formed my own trio (Bradley Thomas Trio - 2013) to do both jazz hymns and standards (Jobim, Coltrane).
