  Through the apprenticeship, I was trained in the operation of excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, rollers, rubber tire loaders, skid steers and forklifts. I received training in rigging and hand signaling to aid in safe lifts with cranes and excavators and trained on the light maintenance of various forms of equipment as an equipment oiler. I continued union membership until 2021. However, work was not available.

  Responsible for installation of total house gas piping systems as well as duct work, warm air furnaces, vent piping, condensate piping, and high and low voltage wiring in new and existing homes. I was also trained and installed copper hydronic piping using ProPress and soldered fittings.

  Operated assembly line machinery and worked as part of a team to maintain daily production goals and to also keep a safe work environment. Promoted to “Special Forces Team” to train new hires. Through my employment at A.O. Smith, they recognized my versatility and moved me throughout the plant as needed.

Experience in the installation of hardwood, vinyl, and tile flooring, light framing, small drywall repairs, plumbing fixture replacement and/or relocation, residential wiring for necessary electrical improvements as well as wiring for new circuits for additional outlets, switches, and fixtures.
