Techniques used: Electroencephalography (EEG), eye-tracking, EEG pattern classification analysis in Matlab

    • University College Utrecht

      May 2014 - Jul 2014
      Student Assistant

Student Assistent for the Visual Psychophysics Lab Course (UCSCICOGL1). In this course students were introduced to Matlab programming. The students were learned to master input/output functions (e.g. data collection by keyboard, filing of data), as well as how to set up a fully computerized experiment and how to analyze the resulting data. Based on provided literature, students were asked to formulate a research question and to design an experiment to answer that question using a visual search paradigm. Students participated in each other’s experiments and a practical introduction to relevant statistical techniques was given, and students applied these techniques to analyse their data. At the end of the second week, there was a mini-conference during which students presented their findings in the form of poster presentations. Show less
