  Orthotic Fitter/Orthotist

  At The Training Room, I began as an Orthotic Fitter. I was contracted into an Orthopedic Surgeon's office and I would fit patient with off the shelf orthotic bracing. Soon, this became stagnant to me and I craved more knowledge. I became a Certified Orthotist and began working with patients to fabricate Custom Orthoses.

  At OrthoMaryland, I held a multi-dimensional positon. My main responsibility was as an Orthotist. I would do any custom or off the shelf bracing the physicians prescribed. I also served as a back up Medical Assistant. I would room patients, obtain vitals, assist the physicians with injections, and educate patients on their diagnosis.
