  While studying to earn my bachelors degree, I also took on the responsibility of Commuting Student Body President which allowed me to hold a seat on the University Senate. Most of my efforts in this position went towards helping more than 300 commuting students become more connected within the campus lifestyle. I was also responsible for maintaining the quarterly budget for the commuting student body. After working through and finalizing a budget, I conducted market research to find exactly what type of events would appeal to the commuters of my campus. With those same funds, I created and implemented multiple marketing campaigns targeted at the commuting student body as a whole.
