  a) Providing technical guidance / support to PVC processors (Pipe, Twist Wrap, Shrink Wrap Film, Shoes, Artificial Leather, Vinyl Flooring, Calandered Film / sheet etc manufacturers) by changing processing parameters or by adjusting recipe or by altering dosing of additives.b) Establishing application laboratory at EPCL plant Port Qasim, with an objective to do research and development work, solving customer complaints related to SABZ resin / optimizing customers recipes and developing new product in PVC.c) Supporting new PVC processors by selecting imported new/ second hand equipment’s for them or in some cases providing guidance in local fabrication of equipment. Once the equipment is installed providing them proper recipes and conducting machine trials.d) Upgrading standards of PVC products in Pakistan by educating PVC processors about the mechanism and functions of different additives used in PVC processing and latest techniques in PVC processing.e) Participating in PVC market development activities by giving presentations to Govt. / Semi Govt. bodies, Civil Consultants, Pipe manufacturers and Plumbers on Benefits of Using PVC Pipes in Water Supply System covering all the technical aspects of designing and calculations related to laying and jointing of PVC pipes.f) Custodian of NCR’s by coordinating with different departments within company to close the loop and achieve customer satisfaction.Advising customers of Engro on projects involving plastic pipes capacity expansions. • Ensure use of plastic pipes in mega projects being executed by Government of Pakistan with the help of funding of donor agencies like World Bank, Asian Development Bank etc. Show less
