  I have undertaken a variety of roles whilst working for Cognizant. This includes; Business development and competitive landscape analysis, program management for a large life insurer and business strategy formulation from “As Is” to “To Be” states targeting large multinational life and general insurance carriers. I have also undertaken purely advisory work in the target operating model space.I am very familiar the latest technologies, including social, mobile, analytics, cloud and the "internet of things" and have a strong understanding of their implications on business and customer strategies. This includes both risks and mitigation strategies. I also work closely with senior leadership to create points of view presentations and white papers on digital disruption in the insurance market, as well as strategy frameworks for large insurance clients.Alongside my work activities, I have achieved the full CII Certificate of Insurance qualification which is enabling me to better understand the insurance market and apply our insurance specific solutions.   My experience within Sia Partners has been focused around the application of innovation, either through new technology or supporting in house digital incubators with insurance and financial services clients. I regularly engage with the Fintech community and have an interest in how these start ups can impact the insurance business.An example innovative project involved working with a Tier 1 Insurer's in house accelerator to bring to market a new innovative digital product. The project involved customer validation research, product feature development and go to market strategy creation. The final deliverable was the creation of a business case on the products market viability.I have also developed a number of digital propositions in house, targeting insurers around customer engagement and digitising insurance products.
