      Welder fabricator maintenance technician

In my current position I build various components by blueprint or by copying the original part from the ground up ( i.e. hydraulic oil tanks of various capacities, bracing and suspension components, custom mounts, and precision parts of all sizes). I am also able to operate a manual oxy fuel track torch effectively (ESAB Silhouette 1000), Metal shear capable of cutting ½ inch plate steel, Variable Speed Drill Press(Cincinnati Bickford), Punch Press for up to 1 inch thick steel, bending break for up to 1 1/4 inch steel 5 foot wide, plasma cutter, Carbon arc gouge, and am able to program an automated band saw to run (Spartan by Marvel). As the companies maintenance technician, I requsition all parts needed to repair down equipment, solve any plumbing problems that arise, install all electrical componets and solve problems on 120/220 volt single phase and 480 volt 3-phase power systems while matching all completed work to the code standard. This includes changing breakers, replacing switches, troubleshooting the system, re-wiring machinery and replacing phased out motors. I am often working off of the shop floor in excess of 30 feet attached to a safety harness system changing lighting without problem. I replace and repair all drywall and paneling in the offices as the need arises, repair and patch the rubber and aluminum roofing as needed. I preform monthly maintenance on our air compressor (draining excess water and oil/grease as needed), can repack hydraulic jack seals and can order and change hoses to match the pressure the system requires, I also service all of the companies gas and oil burning furnaces both yearly and as needed, and have pictures of various jobs I have completed as well as the facility I maintain.
