  This role required me to the face of QBE Workers Compensation, I worked offsite and the offices of one of Australia's largest brokers. I was responsible for management of the claimant for the largest Workers Compensation accounts managed by QBE under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme.I was successful in maintaining and building a great relationship with the client and claimant, plus many providers involved in managing these claims. I regularly provided claims reviews, and undertook ad hoc case discussion with relevant parties, which consistently meant I had to be fully up to date in all aspects of the portfolio.I regularly traveled in this role to regional location to meet with claimants, doctors, rehab providers and other parties to ensure outcome where achieved.   In this role, I managed a portfolio of Workers Compensation claims in the corporate sector. I was hired into a new developed team, whereby we had to manage the larger clients. I managed and built relationships with one of the largest department stores.This portfolio came with significant challenges, which I managed and adapted to.   Moving into this role was an exciting change for me. I was able to utilise my skills gained in both Workers Compensation and Life Insurance claims management and bring it over to the general side. This was a challenging role in a lot of respects, Coverforce have a large client base nationally and we pride ourselves on delivering desirable outcomes.The insurance services offered at Coverforce are of vast variety, my team manages all lines. The specialist within this team were hand picked to ensure quality service to our customers is delivered and we achieved the best outcome.Over the past year the team has gone through a number of changes to ensure our customers needs are always met. After understanding the product and managing claims, I ensured that I expended my knowledge of the Group Income Protection scheme and market.Within 2 years of moving to Coverforce I was promoted and I am currently managing a team of claims consultants, I oversee the running of 5 schemes and Policies. I'm responsible to ensure my staff are provided with all tools and training to make them successful in managing the product. I'm also responsible for the management and running of the dispute resolution process. I sit on the Internal Dispute Resolution Panel, and am accountable for the writing of our dispute letters. When a matter is referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service, I structure and write our defence in relation to these disputed matters.
