May 2005 - May 2008Senior Claims ConsultantThis role required me to the face of QBE Workers Compensation, I worked offsite and the offices of one of Australia's largest brokers. I was responsible for management of the claimant for the largest Workers Compensation accounts managed by QBE under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme.I was successful in maintaining and building a great relationship with the client and claimant, plus many providers involved in managing these claims. I regularly provided claims reviews, and undertook ad hoc case discussion with relevant parties, which consistently meant I had to be fully up to date in all aspects of the portfolio.I regularly traveled in this role to regional location to meet with claimants, doctors, rehab providers and other parties to ensure outcome where achieved.
