  Engaged in designing products and mechanisms for tractor models within the Mexican market, specifically focusing on components within the cabin and operator's platform area. This encompassed critical elements such as levers, cables, seats, pedals, and steering wheels. I was involved from ideation to refining manufacturing processes and seamless in-line assembly. By evaluating factors like reach, visibility, ease of use, and overall operator experience, I ensured that the products not only functioned effectively but also provided a user-friendly and comfortable interface. This attention to ergonomics aimed to enhance operator satisfaction and minimize fatigue during prolonged usage.Leveraging PTC Creo, I adeptly created detailed 3D models, encompassing solid, surface, and sheet metal components, along with complex assemblies comprising over a hundred parts. Utilizing CAE modules within the same software, I expedited the validation process for critical components through rapid go/no-go assessments. Precision was maintained through thorough stack-up analyses, and drawings adhered strictly to industry norms and GD&T guidelines. My role extended to material selection for new components and making strategic hardware choices to streamline part numbers and optimize logistics along the assembly line.Ensuring seamless collaboration, I lead design reviews with stakeholders, to ensure efficient manufacturing and assembly timelines. My direct interaction with Purchasing and Manufacturing involved defining make-or-buy decisions and exploring alternative options when they arose.I collaborated closely with the validation team to ensure compliance with lifecycle and safety test specifications. Beyond that, I assumed responsibility for managing new revisions, establishing part numbers, creating assembly numbers, performing DFMEA, updating Bill of Materials (BOM), and uploading drafts using PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter and ENOVIA.   Serving as the branch manager of the company's services division in Mexico, I led a specialized team dedicated to applying wear-resistant welding solutions for industrial tooling and production equipment across diverse sectors like mining, glass, sugar, concrete, and ceramics.My role involved conducting feasibility analyses for each Request for Quotation (RFQ) and generating client quotations. By streamlining our processes, we significantly improved response time, reducing quotation turnaround from 6-8 working days to a maximum of 3 days per request.With a dedicated team, our workshop efficiently managed an average of 20 distinct projects every month, effectively minimizing project delays during my tenure. We initiated a Comprehensive Improvement Program, optimizing material pathways, refining plant layout, and innovating new devices to enhance operator efficiency, well-being, and ergonomics.Directly reporting to the CEO, I provided comprehensive documentation that reflected sales, backorders, and tracked key performance indicators (KPIs). Over my management period, we developed various quality assurance documents and introduced an enhanced maintenance and manufacturing process report for each project. Show less As the team leader, I headed the design and development of a custom version of cooling tables utilized in CastoDur Diamond Plates manufacturing, able to handle both, standard size of 5'x 10' and 6'x 11' steel base plate. I actively participated in documenting and creating 3D models (PTC Creo) for the previous iteration of the welding machine, overseeing its manufacturing in alignment with client specifications and requirements.My responsibilities extended to overseeing the testing of novel components resulting from the redesign, as well as troubleshooting mechanical aspects of the machine prior to packaging. I also took on the task of managing supplier design reviews and effectively implemented various design changes to ensure the project remained within budget constraints.Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in overseeing the commissioning of the CDP cell in Algeria, Africa, which significantly contributed to the smooth project execution.
