  This textile plant manufactures non-woven material for hospitals and the auto industry. I was on the team of 16 that started and patented the Swiffer floor sweeping material. Johnson & Johnson sold the plant to PGI and they sold it to Fibertec then to Chicopee.

  Manufacturing Fiber-Optic cable from buffering to termination. I was the 1st shift Supervisor of about 25 direct reports. I led the daily production meetings and also worked in scheduling. We made single-mode and multi-mode cables for industrial as well as military use. I was Green Belt certified in Six Sigma and trained employees on SAP. I was part of the management team that worked to get the plant it's ISO 9001 certification.

  Compounding/Formulation - I worked in a Clean Room compounding and formulating a generic version of the Albuterol Sulfate rescue inhaler. I also worked in Clinical Trials Manufacturing with the controlled drug Diazepam. I am familiar with clean room gowning techniques as well as the importance of real time documentation. My group of 24 was laid-off due to the company’s inability to obtain FDA approval. I was called back to work 5 weeks later but, I had already accepted another job.

  I was a Filling Technician II working in an Aseptic filling suite and I am certified to work in a class A/B aseptic environment. I worked in Equipment Prep and am familiar working with an Autoclave and Lyophilizer. We made Modified AHF vaccines from plasma for Rabies, Hepatitis, Emphysema and other blood disorders. I am familiar with cGMP and ALCOA practices and documentation.
