  I pivoted into a role as a Nurse Practitioner on the psychiatry team, which included conducting psychiatric consultations, developing in-depth care plans, participating in daily clinical rounds, and mentoring medical students. Additionally, I demonstrated an ability to combine expertise in medical and psychiatric care, resulting in exceptional levels of patient care and improved outcomes in psychiatric cases. I provided exceptional medical care and support to patients with a concentration on facilitating physical, psychological, social, and spiritual support for both patients and their families. In this position, I was recognized as an educator and mentor for the palliative care team in addition to consistently gaining trust with patients, resulting in improved communication and the ability for patients to make highly informed decisions. I was hired to support nursing operations in a Level 1 Trauma Center with 1,500 beds, requiring learning the best practices for the trauma specialty and ensuring all patient’s needs were met as efficiently as possible. I conducted in-depth patient assessments, implemented care plans, and served as a nurse in the central staffing pool to help cover shifts on various units when additional support was needed. While supporting this facility, I served in the charge nurse role on multiple occasions.

  I joined an industry-leading clinical trial management organization specializing in several areas: metabolic, cardiology, nephrology, vaccines, dermatology, healthy volunteers, and first-in-human trials. In this role, I am recognized as a senior leader within the organization, overseeing up to 30 clinical team members and administrative team members who lead daily operations of all trials in the early phase unit.
