  Climbing Instructor

  As a climbing instructor, my job firstly involves communicating with customers to fill out disclaimers for the hour sessions we run. I also answer any questions they have, such as prices, what they can do, etc. I then manage the group (typically around 10-16 on a session) with up to 3 more of my colleges, fitting their harness and being observant of the clothing and jewellery they're wearing, as to make sure it's suitable for the activity, e.g. slip on shoes and neckless are not allowed. I then brief the participants and aid them during their session. Other responsibilities include high communication with the team and other staff working, such as radioing reception for information on the next session and helping out in other areas of the building such as Café, Skate, Ski, Soft Play and Aerial Trek (of witch I also run sessions on, it’s similar to climbing). Working at Summit Indoor Adventure has greatly increased my communication, teamwork, time management and Independence skills (Sometimes I have to run sessions on my own). I have also learnt to cope under great pressure when having to finish one session and prepare the next when we are at max capacity, low on staff and things in general aren't running smoothly, but you have to power on through it.   Gravity Trampoline Parks

  Hosting groups of people, often parties upwards of 15 kids, in trampolining activities such as dodgeball. Managing groups of customers on a trampoline session, involving the preparation before the activity, warm up exercises, safety briefings, and marshalling them on the trampoline park, and air bag.
