  My responsibilities included pilot-project deliveries in the field of rotating machinery components for mechanical integrity checks through simulations engineering.-Solving the nonlinear problems using the commercial FE package ANSYS and postprocessing the results for aero-engine components specifically on friction damper designs for LP turbine to obtain a reliable design.-Performing FE mesh with quality-checks. Worked on projects related to bolt design with pretensions and concrete-steel interface of a wind tower, buckling analysis for a wind tower shell and a few works on vibration analysis for automotive and turbomachinery components.-Help train new colleagues in using ANSYS as a tool for design and simulation.
