      My role as the head of the technology department encompassed all systems and development functions of the company. As the head of the department I'm was part of the companies executive team and tasked with leading the companies technology strategy. In my time with Netregistry I was directly responsibly for many large scale projects including the migration and consolidation of multiple companies onto our platform and infrastructure through a series of acquisitions. Assessing the acquired infrastructure and systems and laying the procedures down for moving the client base as seamlessly as possible onto our platform.I also directly supervised the set-up of three data centre spaces utilized for the expansion of the Netregistry operation as well as the down sizing of these spaces as we moved through the process of virtualising our environment requiring less physical space and equipment.I dealt with all external technical contacts negotiating both service delivery contracts and infrastructure purchases.Leading a team of thirty with a mix of development and systems administrations staff, I was heavily invested in team building and the advancement of skills, Regularly mentor each member of my team.       Having spent 10yrs in a volunteer capacity as the sports association manager, driving the growth of sport karate in Australia and acting as International Team Coach on a number of occasions. On retirement of the Board Chairman at the 2024 AGM the committee asked that I step into a new volunteer role that combined the roles of General Manager and Chairman.I'm looking forward to the increased responsibilities and remain passionate about driving the development of sport karate in Australia and seeing the success of our athletes as a result. Including; Audit, Risk, Financial, Legal, Compliance and Governance, Technology, Marketing, Sales and Customer care.Recently I have negotiated several sponsorship deals on behalf of ISKA and have lead a complete change in the ISKA Online presence which includes all of the organisations marketing and communication strategies.My goal with ISKA is the ongoing embrace of new technology to benefit our customers and broaden our communications reach.
