  I worked with PopMatters from the moment the site launched, initially as a contributing writer, under the pen name Patrick Schabe. I took over the role of Music Reviews Editor in 2004 and subsequently worked to recruit, manage, and coordinate the site's music writing staff, as well as edit copy, and develop new music features. I also worked as Features Editor on a number of ongoing series and individual articles with both staff and outside contributing writers.

  I began at CBS as a Sales Assistant, building presentation graphics for the sales team, which eventually grew into a larger Graphics and Sales Coordinator position, where I was responsible for identity branding and marketing graphics for the group's three radio stations. In 2007, I was promoted to Digital Content Manager for the cluster, maintaining content ranging from copywriting to graphic standards. That position has included design and layout of new site builds, implementation of new applications and features, working with streaming audio and video, and multiple enhancement projects in an ever-changing and continually updated online environment.   My current position entails working as a Sr. Project Manager (P5) for the planning and delivery of new course content to students of WGU. The position includes working with several internal departments and stakeholders to plan new content releases, facilitate the process of course activation, and coordinate the field testing of new material.My previous roles as Quality Assurance Manager and Publications Manager included supervision of staff members in the Program Development department, coordinating the tracking, scheduling, and implementation of WGU's course materials; utilizing content management system to edit online materials; copyediting and proofreading course content; maintaining quality control of course materials; and developing new interactive course features.
