      As a licensed Benefits Advisor, my role is to support Zenefits’ continually growing client base with all of their company benefits needs, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances. I provide direct, one on one support to small company CEOs and administrators as they near their insurance open enrollments, helping to educate them on the evolving insurance marketplace and ultimately helping them make the right benefit decisions for their company. An important aspect of this role is also to work directly with insurance carriers resolve any enrollment discrepancies and other post-enrollment issues by communicating with these carriers and managing audit processes within the Zenefits platform. Account Manager responsibilities have included assisting these small companies with making changes to HR features such as PTO policies, onboarding new employees, and providing insurance advice and support throughout the year. This requires both a comprehensive knowledge of Zenefits' online platform as well as small group insurance. Other responsibilities have included working on internal teams that provide direct product improvement feedback to project managers and engineers, as well as on teams of Benefit Advisors that manage a book of insurance renewals in specific geographic regions.
