  I'm responsible for the Fernandina mill truckwood procurement area. I manage the 10 county area in Florida and Georgia that directly surround the Fernandina paper mill. I manage a forester in Florida and coordinate with another forester in Georgia. These foresters price all of the wood in the truck wood area for our dealers to either negotiate with private landowners or to actively bid on timber sales. I also manage an outlying supplier run woodyard, where we store over 40,000 tons of pine under water. Show less

  I am the Forestry Procurement Manager with Pinova. We are responsible for sourcing high quality longleaf and slash pine stumps from the Southeastern States. Our facility in Brunswick Georgia uses these stumps as feed stock to create high performance rosin and polyterpene resins. The team of foresters procure stumps from landowners and then schedule one of our skilled stump crews to harvest the stumps using excavators with specially designed shear heads.
