      I was in a very trusted role within the company, having access to systems and passwords that allow me to access and manage staff files which are strictly confidential. I was responsible for running payroll each week for over 50 employees across the grocery and drapery departments and monitoring staff payroll. I maintained regular communication with both store and department managers on wage performance across their departments. I had close communication with the Head Office (Payroll and Human Resources) and Regional management to share relevant payroll and investigation report data. Execution of weekly payroll cost analysis reports using the outcomes to collaborate with department managers to ensure budget adherence. Used both Oracle and Kronos payroll systems to monitor and administer employee files to ensure accurate employment records are maintained across the store. Accountable for reviewing potential store candidates and conducting initial phone screening and scheduling of interviews on behalf of the HR Manager. I was responsible for conducting staff inductions, ensuring that new hires are informed on company policies and procedures and showing them around the store and familiarising them with their new job roles. Running weekly timekeeping and absence reports and logging exceptions in the system where required.Carry out staff training on all aspects of the company including; Customer Service, Point of Sale training, explaining regulations governing sale of liquor, paracetamol, tobacco, health and safety and GDPR training.
