      I managed and train scores of graduate and undergraduate students towards the aims of the Principal Investigator. The work in the lab was focused on query assessment of cancer genetics and genomics. Our work centered on identification, correlation and validation of inherited and somatic mutations focused mostly on mitochondrial genetics.

      Managed the production processes of a specialized targeted genotyping company for large agriculture populations. I entered to move the company from R&D to a high throughput production facility. We started at producing thousands of data points/month and now generate hundreds of thousands of data points per month, keeping quality of data as our main goal. My position consists of guiding each process from initial request through delivery of data or kit, which includes managing laboratory operations, inventory, hiring and safety. I've implemented new techniques and software to optimize effectiveness with efficiency and reduce costs.
