      Rotational programme which developed my core technical skills in Software Engineering along with my general soft skills through working with variety of teams to create and maintain world-class technology to one of the world’s leading airline groups. Placements I have had to date:Software Engineering at British Airways (September 2021 – March 2022)• Worked in an agile team to create a tool that allows the user to compare the availability of other airlines to BA with what they show to other airlines by creating a Python application that interacts with Amadeus.• Created a script that automated a way to combine an unlimited amount of EMDs (e-vouchers) into one.• Developed an automation tool that allows users to automatically combine and convert all tickets from a PNR into a single e-voucher. This tool includes a web based front-end made using Flask, HTML and JavaScript. • I created a process that automatically refunds eligible e-vouchers by using two databases along with Amadeus. Software Engineering at IAG Tech (September 2020 – March 2021)• Using AWS, PHP, Python, SQL and Terraform, I Contributed significantly to the front and back end of a catering web application used in the BA lounges called YourMenu. • Developed the first end to end CI/CD pipeline within the company for the full software delivery lifecycle for the YourMenu application on GitLab. • Preformed a GitLab DevOps presentation and demo to the software engineering guild within IAG (over 100 people in attendance). Data Science at IAG Tech (June 2021 – September 2021)• Used prior experiences on GitLab to optimise and make IAG tech’s GDP (Global Data Platform) GitHub instance ready to use for IAG. Cyber Security at IAG Tech (March 2021 – June 2021)• Pioneered integrating Qualys WAS into a CI/CD pipeline by utilising Qualys APIs which allows developers to call a script that would perform a Qualys WAS scan on their website without the need of them having to obtain credentials themselves.
