      Multiple regulatory and non-regulatory projects. Main project delivered enabled business units to deliver a new capability to provide electricity to the national transmission grid with less than two minutes notice when demand for power in the UK is high. Working as lead Business Analyst and later Project Manager, it was my responsibility to ensure that a dispatch solution was delivered for the National Electricity Control Centre in time for when the contract started. This enabled savings to the industry of up to £10 million per year, and returns to National Grid through regulatory incentive schemes. Project responsibilities lead Business Analyst included;• Identifying key stakeholders of the project and establishing relationships with lead business users.• Interviews and workshops with stakeholders to model the end-to-end processes of seven business functions.• Requirements elicitation workshops with all business users.• Business requirements document and options analysis; completed and approved by all stakeholders.• Close engagement with suppliers/developers for the design and implementation to ensure timely delivery of the solution.• Engaged with business users for user acceptance testing, defect management and training.Project Manager for delivery, transition and closure of the project, responsible for the following;• Ensuring all business stakeholders were aligned to the plan for go live by facilitating regular checkpoint meetings.• Engagement with users and supplier post-go live to ensure smooth operation and transition• Completion of service transition documentation for handover to Service Delivery and BAU• Ensuring that service contracts were signed• Generating finance report for the project management board• Facilitating lessons learnt workshop and producing report for project sponsor• Collating and finalising project closure reports demonstrating clear outcomes in regards to the project finances, timelines and business case realisation plan Show less • Vendor and stakeholder engagement to improve and speed up the resolution of problems.• Identified and addressed process improvements for proactive analysis, customer engagement, reporting and the ‘pain points’ of the business to help reduce the number of minor incidents.• Worked closely with Major Incident Management to develop a new process for handing over major incidents to Problem Management for early visibility.
