  • An active member of a larger collaboration between National Metrology Institutes (NMI’s) of Canada, Italy, and South Korea.• Worked on finding the new unit of sound (acoustic Pascal) using opto-acoustic techniques, i.e., photon correlation method and signal processing. • Utilized MATLAB programming to evaluate the signal processing code and developed a new method to decrease the Type A uncertainties of the experiment by 3%. • The MATLAB code was standardized to fit ACF and Phase offset curve to give Type A uncertainties (Random) of less than 9%. • Successfully produced accurate acoustic properties (acoustic Pascal and acoustic velocity) after analysing almost 500 experimental data (each data taking at least 2hrs for compilation) within the short deadline.• Designed and modelled an acoustic chamber and simulated, using SOLIDWORKS, to verify the turbulent airflow to evaluate the optimum location of fan for obtaining higher scattering efficiency.
