      Over this 2 year period I initiated and self-directed projects in retail and healthcare; researching, analysing and improving the design of these services.Clients included The Happy Pear Café (3 projects), The Neurology Institute and Biomech Physiotherapy.- The Happy Pear, Greystones, Co. Wicklow: Third retail project with the award-winning Happy Pear Café, home of the two best-selling cookbooks in Ireland and the UK 2015 and 2016. For this project I was tasked with creating short and long-term layouts and flow for the café. I was also responsible for the design and iteration of the long-term layout for the whole Happy Pear site.Second retail project for The Happy Pear focusing on improving the customer experience and flow through their award-winning café. First retail project for The Happy Pear focusing on improving the layout, loading efficiency and customer experience in their Wholefood, Fruit and Veg shop.- Private Client for Neurology Institute, University of Cape Town, South Africa: Working remotely for the benefactor of the newly established Neurology Institute at UCT Academic Hospital, to create research reports on how to design a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment and analysed hospital floor plans for prime areas of “spontaneous collaboration”.- Biomech Physiotherapy, Seapoint RFC, Dublin 18: Creating an overview of the customer journey and mapping touchpoints for new business Biomech, to uncover opportunities for improving the customer experience and offering solutions to improve the quality of interactions through each touchpoint.       Experience Design Intern

      Responsible for the layout and flow of a family attraction for the Christmas season at Tivoli which sees over 1 million people visit the park over a 6 week period. I applied Service Design principles to research, map, and develop the guest journey for the attraction, designed the layout for optimum guest flow as well as creating packaging solutions.

      Consulting for a healthy grab-and-go café chain in London. Focusing on developing customer profiles, journey maps, touchpoint development and optimising customer experience as well as creating layout and flow models for a potential site in Marylebone.I was involved in supporting the launch of their 6 month pop-up located at Duke of York Square in Chelsea, which included setting up the stock management system and space plan.

      While studying part-time to complete my degree in Industrial Engineering I started with Roasted Brown as a packing and dispatch operative and worked my way to significant responsibilities for both the e-commerce side of the business as well as the workflow for the roasting, packing, and dispatch systems. • Management of day-to-day roastery operations, ensuring all internal processes and work systems are in place and working efficiently • Implemented a Process Improvement program with the goal of a 10% reduction in productionlabour hours.       Bringing together Service Design, Experience Design and Brand Building, I help independent brands to craft seamless buying experiences that turn browsers into happy customers, online and in-store.- Managing projects end-to-end, from initial client consultation to final implementation and testing to create value for the business and their customers.- My focus is on aligning brand, business, and customer goals throughout the customer journey, specifically on making retail spaces easier to navigate, enjoy and experience. Notable projects include: - Doubling online sales for 3 of my e-commerce clients within 3 months of working with them. - Designing and launching One Dame Lane's flagship retail store in Greystones in 2023. - Advising on the layout, flow and customer experience for Roasted Brown's new coffee shop and roastery in Kilcoole in 2024. I am currently working with them to redesign the layout of their warehouse to optimise flow for their production staff. Show less
