I learned more about the mechanism and procedures of most of refining processing and equipment. Also I knew about the controlling system during the intern. That enriched my skills in the refining field and added too much for me.

  It was an office practicing on HYSYS.The instructor put us on the right track to be professional on HYSYS. He learned us some cases which is considered a start to be familiar with the program preface and to deal with the simple problems that may face us. After that intern my HYSYS skills was improved and it added to me surly.

  PhPC is one of the biggest gas production companies in Egypt. I trained there for 5 days where I learned more about gas processing. We learned about the platforms that the company possess at our first days. Also We learned that it has subsurface production wells and unmanned platforms. Also We made a tour in the processing plant where we watched the processes on ground and knew about its procedure from the gas entry till it leaves the company.

  APRC "Amreya Petroleum Refining Company" refines, markets, and sells petroleum products to local market customers in Egypt. It offers oxidized bitumen, solvents, phenolic extracts, demineralized water, bitumen paint, special slack wax, asphalt, oil, transformer oil, and other products.We trained for two weeks in the plant where I learned more about refining processes specially Vacuum distillation unit and the process procedure of it. Also, we learned about the process of producing LAB "Linear Alkyl Benzene", Lubricant Unit, Nitrogen Unit, Aromatics Unit,Waste Water Treatment Unit and Treating Unit.I increased my experience in refining processes and learned about new processes like Vacuum distillation unit, and LAB unit.   El Wastani Petroleum Company "also known as WASCO", is engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas as well as petroleum products. We trained for a weak in it where we visited the rig but there were no engineers who aren't busy to describe the process for us. We also visited a production well where we saw the Christmas Tree and the manifold of the well. By the end of the week we visited the Gas Plant where we Knew about the different processes made on the gas to extract NGL and condensate from it. Show less

  UGDC "United Gas Derivatives Company" was established to receive the gas produced from North Port Said, Ras El Bar and Temsah concessions through the gas treatment plants of El Gamil and Ha'py in order to extract the NGL and produce propane, LPG and Condensates. By the end of the training, We knew much about processes that must be made on the natural gas to extract the NGL such as dehydration, Mercury removing section, Cryogenic unit to NGL recovery, debutanizer and depropanizer.After finishing my training in UGDC, I am dreaming of joining such great entity one day as a process engineer.   SAKNAFTA is a private Egyptian Petroleum service company. During our trip we had two lectures. First of them was about coiled tubing. During which we knew about its usage, types, material, its unit components,and about well control equipments. The second lecture was about N2 fluids pumping. During which we knew about nitrogen properties, liquid N2 hazards, N2 storage, N2 pumping unit, N2 applications and about other liquids pumping facilities.
