      Responsible for all operation and advisory level support to the Technology and planning section for numbering related activities in TDRA and initiatives such as implementation of number portability plan in addition to other technical regulatory related issues.• Manage Projects successfully (examples: Number Portability implementation, CLI Spoofing), and participate effectively in several projects like Kashef-CNAP.• Assist in increasing competition by superior technical support and grasp of market through which new service requirements related to numbering can be pre-emptively met• Ensure compliance to all numbering standards, conventions and policies laid down and report any issues around compliance• Research and conduct studies to prepare responses focused on developing policies related to numbering and fees for use of number resources• Monitor numbering usage by operators and raise annual invoices accordingly to ensure timely payment of fees by operators to TDRA• Monitor developments in the telecom sector of the country, analyze impact and use this information to draft responses and technical viewpoints for the gamut of issues on signaling and numbering• Managing the operational processes like number portability, Numbering requests from operators, allocation based on availability and procedures• Assist in Implementing TDRA’s new regulations (Examples: NP, M2M, IoT, VoIP, QoS), and reviewing any related policies.• Coordinate with ITU around critical information on numbering resources or codes, availability of such codes and requirements in UAE• Participate in reviewing and studying technical issues related to QoS, interconnection and licensing• Study, analyze, and propose solutions to technical problems arising between operators related to network access and interconnection issues or any technical matters• Participate in the representing UAE in meetings, conferences and other international gatherings having to do with technical and/or regulatory issues.
