      Created the proposal and found the funding for a program for foreign trained physicians to learn the intricacies of the American medical system. Hired and trained interpreters, community organizers, and social workers. Organized a board of directors made up of the various constituencies that makeup Los Angeles, including representatives of middle-eastern, Philippine, and pan-African interest groups. Organized a international job faire to ease the fears of the new immigrant communities.
